The Totally 'Pawsome' Box For Your Dog

Monthly subscription boxes are becoming so popular, and these days.. they cater for just about anybody - including dogs. For those of you that follow me on Twitter/Instagram you may of noticed the new addition to my household; Bilbo. Yes, he's named after Bilbo Baggins, due to the fact he had massive feet when we first visited him. He's my absolute baby, I'm always snapping away and treating him to new things, so help me if I ever have a child!!

I recently came across Pawsome Box whilst searching for some new doggy bits. The concept is very similar to the beauty boxes we love.. except obviously they're for dogs. All you have to do is fill in some information about your dog, choose your subscription and then wait for it to arrive. The best thing? The first box is absolutely free, although delivery is £2.90. Still a bargain..

Guest Post | What's Hot About Kaftans?

Hot on the heels of last season’s kimono tops, kaftans are set to sizzle this summer, but what exactly are they and what are the fashion rules for kitting yourself out with a kaftan?

The Staple Cream For The Summer

review, cream, sudocrem, acne

Sudocrem is widely raved about for maintaining healthy skin. Every night in my teens, I used to slather my face in Sudocrem thanks to those pesky spots.  To this day, it's still one of my go to products to banish the nasties. Now, it's not going to get rid of your spots overnight but it definitely helps to bring the redness and swelling right down.

This product is suitable for all skin types and ages.. so whether you have acne or not, this product is still perfect to use within your daily skincare regime. It can be applied as a face mask, used as a moisturiser on your face/body as it's great for helping any dry areas of skin and it definitely helps to soothe any rashes - especially shaving rash. For you parents out there, it's also the go to product for nappy rash!

Festival Looks

I've got a confession to make..

I've never been to a festival. OHMAGAHD. I know. Every year, I pledge to go to at least one, but it never happens. One of my friends is going to Glastonbury and I've had the absolute delight in helping her pick her festival style. Feeling slightly jealous, and wanting an excuse to browse clothing websites.. (for like, the seventh time today).. I've put together five festival looks..

So anyway, I did my usual.. grabbed the list of MAC lipsticks I want and  picked the ones I want right now, well actually I'd like them all right now but hey, you know..money and all that!

Simple Khaki Look

New Look Khaki Shorts, Public Desire Heels

Khaki has become my new favourite colour to wear and its absolutely everywhere this SS15! Now the sun has FINALLY made an appearance, I thought I'd brave it and wear shorts. I was probably a little optimistic, as the clouds just love to appear once you think you're set for a full day of sunning.

Fathers Day Gift Idea | Razorun

wet shave, suscription beauty box

Due to the lack of beard on my behalf, I got my boyfriend to test this for me. Usually, he's the guy that's left with bits of tissue all over his face as he's cut himself numerous times! (I'm not really sure if this is down to the shavers he's using, or if he just lacks the ability to shave properly.) However, Razorun have ended this..

Razorun are a new company that specialise in wet shave products for men. Similar to those beauty boxes us ladies love..Razorun offer a monthly subscription service; prices start at £17.99 if you subscribe for a year, or £24.99 if you pay monthly or just want a one off box. You can also subscribe for 3, or 6 months; the longer you subscribe for, the more you save. Postage in the UK is free.

So what's in the first box*?

The first box includes a double edge saftey razor, 10 extra blades, matchsticks to heal any cuts, aftershave, soap and a shaving brush. From then on each month "you will receive hand selected products that will reinvent your shaving experience. Previous boxes have included heavenly scented soaps, manly fragrances from small independent boutiques, a selection of razors and many more shaving essentials."

I'll start by saying that my boyfriend came out of the bathroom saying 'That was amazing'. The soap lathered up nicely, so he was able to gather enough soap to ensure the shave didn't leave him with a rash. Comparing the shave as very similar to a professional experience, if not better; he didn't cut himself, and the finish was so clean and fresh. He finished off using the 'Bay Rum & Lime Aftershave', not only looking good, but smelling good too.

All in all, the product receives a massive thumbs up from us both. It achieves what it promises, and all the products are of very high quality. Goodbye BICS.

If you fancy treating the men in your life then this would make the PERFECT gift for fathers day, use the code BestDad15 for 15% off your order. You can order your box here.

Public Desire 'Kalia' Heels

Whilst I was doing my usual trawling of Instagram before bed; I came across the PUBLIC DESIRE account. Needless to say, I instantly fell in love with almost all of their shoes; cue a serious decrease in my bank balance. After a cheeky little hint, I received these Public Desire 'Kalia' Heels for my birthday!

lace up, public desire, kalia heels,

This particular style comes in three different colours; Black, Nude or White and are available in a patent or suede material; the ones I'm wearing are the black suede but you can find them all on their website. I'd probably recommend that you buy a size up from your usual, I'm usually in limbo between 3/3.5, but I went for a 4 and they're quite snug. Despite the smallish fit, these heels are incredibly comfy, which as you probably know is quite rare for heels, especially when they're this high. I'll definitely be purchasing some more shoes from Public Desire; they're very bank account friendly with their bargain prices and excellent quality! Win win.

Below are some other styles I'm currently loving, just click on the relevant image to be taken to the website.
